That’s why today, the 574 is synonymous with the boundary defying New Balance style, and worn by anyone. This iteration, the Tokyo Design Studio 574, takes inspiration from our first sneaker model, The Trackster.

The Tokyo Design Studio x New Balance 574 ‘Nimbus Cloud Classic Burgundy’ reworks the retro runner with a minimalist build and updated tooling. Housed within New Balance’s T-House concept store in Japan, the TDS team dresses the sneaker in a white mesh upper inspired by an archival model from the ‘60s dubbed the Trackster. The traditional ‘N’ logo is removed, but the leather saddle, suede overlays and external heel counter remain intact.
