Best Vintage Bars in Los Angeles

Here is another post about vintage, take a look at this nostalgic environments inside the best bars of Los Angeles. If you are looking for a cozy lounge with a star lit sky you have come to the right place. The Woods got its name because the bar's interior is comprised of an array of exotic wood applications from the Pecky Cedar walls to the teak cocktail tables flanked by two elk antler chandeliers. Complementing the fiber-optic "starry sky ceiling" is a 15 foot illuminated back bar composed of glass and tree branch designed by Craig Trager. The Woods offers an electic mix of music in the jukebox well as DJ's Thursday and Saturday nights.   El Bar features a warm candle lit atmosphere, large iron chandeliers, stiff drinks and a wide range of specialty tequilas. Other Latin inspired features include bullfighter tapestries, Spanish and Mexican art, and an actual bull's head above the bar! The specialty cocktails and sangrias are tailor made for all of your libation needs. There are also six flat screen TV's to watch your favorite sporting events while eating one of many specialty pizzas or mexican appetizers provided from the 161 St. Pizzeria next door. Cool and unpretentious, the Well is the perfect place to grab drinks and appetizers while winding down your work day or meeting up with friends for a night out on the town. Co-designed with renowned bar/nightclub designer, Fred Sutherland, the centerpiece of the Well is an island bar which displays an aquarium of cascading martini glasses created by Craig Trager. No trip to the Well is complete without playing your favorite songs on the house jukebox, which was voted "One of L.A.'s best".   Nostalgia is a dish best served warm - prefereably with a Scotch chaser fireside on the private brick patio at The Parlour Room of Hollywood. The latest from denizen of drink Craig Trager, what was formerly super-dive Goldfinger is now a refined watering hole blending an appreciation for the old neighborhood (no fussy door policy or dress code) with a tip of the hat to its Tinseltown roots (antique chandeliers give off that luxe amber glow). Queue up the jukebox then casually kick backwith a crafted cocktail.   | Revivals of Industrial Design
